Creation of Savage Harmony began in the year of 2004, when three friends, formally members of a band New Millenium, thought of making a band that would combine the old-school heavy metal riffs with new power-progressive style that is so popular these days.
Goran (vocal), Roby (guitar) and Saša (Bass) started working on a couple of songs having the idea of unique sound that will make them swim out of the sea of similar metal bands. They found a similliar soul in Mario (keyboards) which effectively made the core of the band complete. During the course of next few months, the band worked hard on composing new songs and getting ready for gigs. With Goran's high and powerful voice, Roby's fast melodic rhythms, Saša's and Mario's virtuoso playing, the unique sound started taking form.
Soon after that, they recorded a demo "Lost In Time", and the title song was on Top 20 lists for 3 weeks accross the Croatian radio stations.
On the year of 2005 - the Metal Storm began. The band opened a few shows for bands such as VADER, MOONSORROW and MORTAL LOVE, and with a few gigs on their own people started notice them. Suddenly, the band had a growing number of faithful fans and doors started to open for them. Concert in the club "Vega" was a great conclusion of the year, as the band played one of their most powerful concerts.
They made an impressive appearance on open air festival UFO in 2007, for which they got excellent reviews. That show brought them even more shows all around the country. The next logical course of action was finding a studio to finally record the whole material in album quality. After trying out a few studios, the band talked with a producer from LA Studio, Ladimirevci. The idea the producer had was similliar to the band's vision, so they accepted his offer and started the recording of their debut.
Currently, Savage Harmony is working hard on their debute album and waiting for a record deal to come, so that the Metal Storm can continue...
