1. When did you start practicing music?
When I was 9 years old, I saw a boy on TV who was just one year older than me, and he played the violin like a virtuoso – after seeing that I wished to play violin. I got my violin soon after that, but never enrolled in the music school, so I was completely self-taught. My first encounter with the electric guitar was when I was 10 years old; that was the time when my brother wanted to learn to play it. But, he wasn't that good in playing it, so I took it in my hands, and noticed that I had it going better.

2. What was your first piece of gear?
In the age of 16 I have switched the violin for a second-hand Ibanez Blazer '86. The amplifier was a borrowes Fender Bassman '66.
